About Bollywood Musical Mystery
AN EVENING OF CELEBRATING BOLLYWOOD'S MUSIC COMPOSERS
Bollywood Musical Mystery will take a deep dive into some of Bollywood's greatest composers. Often times, the catchy music we hear gets overshadowed by the actors and singers in the industry. We want to bring forth and pay homage to the wonderful artists spending time to make these brilliant musical scores in the background!
The evening will not only be filled with educational elements, but we've added a twist of mystery which our audience will help our dancers solve. It's sure to get the full family involved and make a lasting impression for all. The production this year will feature not only our Core Team, but also a Kids Performance Team!
To make the night even more special, there will be warm snacks and chai, audience participation, dancing of course, and much more! Come get cozy this Christmas, spend time with your family, and end the year off with some Bollywood nostalgia. See you there!

Best known for its love and representation of Indian culture and art, Madhuban Performing Arts (Madhuban) was founded in 2016 by Ishita Singla. Madhuban was created with a particular vision in mind, "To provide an immersive, dynamic, and multi-disciplinary platform for various South Asian art forms". Following this vision, Madhuban has introduced Bollywood and Indian art forms to Calgary.
Since its inception, Madhuban has supported over 75 non-profit organizations and causes through its authentic dance and musical performances. Within 3 years of being in business, Madhuban's first official video, "Madhuban Anthem" was featured on CBC Calgary and the anthem went viral. Madhuban's Anthem beautifully covered the Calgary downtown landscape.
Recently, Madhuban reached new heights by partnering with a major Bollywood production house to create and perform an original flash mob for the hit song "Madaari" from the movie "The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir". The flash mob has 257,000 hits on YouTube and was also featured in several Indian media outlets.
Madhuban has now grown to 14 core dancers and has recently launched a thriving singing team in alignment with its vision by promoting a multi-disciplinary platform. With the dedication and hard work of all Artists of Madhuban, it has been a successful journey so far, and is looking forward to growing in different avenues to spread Indian art forms.
