Auditions

What: Those auditioning will be taught a short choreography over zoom. As part of the audition they will be expected to practice, film and submit their performance of this choreography as soon as the audition is over.
What is it?
The Bollywood Signature's Core team is a year-round dance intensive program that focuses on technique, conditioning, choreography, performance and much more. This adult performing team is trained to perform at both public and private events, along with other dance-related opportunities. Each member of the team receives a session with the BollySign co-directors at the beginning, mid-point and end of each semester to set goals, evaluate progress and receive feedback on their personal dance goals. Our dancers receive training from not only the BollySign co-directors but also from guest instructors located worldwide in order to expand their learning. Furthermore, we also provide opportunities for photo and video shoots, reels and more. We aim to continue encouraging our dancers to network through collaborations.
Who is Eligible?
Individuals aged 18+ with previous dance experience are eligible for this program. However, consideration will be given to those over the age of 16 based on the skill they demonstrate at the auditions.
Why Join?
There are many reasons to join our training program. The first is to receive high quality dance training that includes theory, history and context. In addition to technique, dancers will also be provided personalized feedback to nurture their professional growth. Furthermore, topics such as stage presence, choreography, body awareness, mental health awareness and coping strategies for performers will be discussed. Moreover, this year we aim to help our core team develop social media skills to build their dance platform, build performer resume's, and connect with others who share their passion for dance.

When: Classes will be held on Wednesdays from 7pm to 8:30pm MST.
Fee: $75/4 classes a month
